Mr. Purohit completed his B. Pharm and M. Pharm degrees from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He is Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and has 12 years of experience in teaching/research. His areas of expertise include: design, synthesis and characterization of novel bio-active heterocyclic compounds such as thiazolidinediones, phthalazines, pyridazines, oxadiazoles with special reference on diabetes mellitus & metabolic disorders. He has guided more than 25 students at M. Pharm and published several papers in national and international journals. He has presented research papers in national & international conferences. |
